Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a CNC Machinist and become a vital part of producing precision-engineered components for a variety of industries. In this energetic role, you will program with MasterCam, set up and operate CNC machines, ensuring high-quality production standards are met with efficiency and accuracy. Your expertise will drive continuous improvement in machining processes, contributing to the success of our manufacturing operations. We are looking for motivated individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about precision craftsmanship. Responsibilities Operate CNC machining equipment, including CNC lathes and milling machines, to produce complex parts according to detailed specifications. Program CNC machines using MasterCam software, such as Fanuc compatible controls and Seimens controls on CNC Mills, ensuring optimal tool paths and machining parameters. Mostly on Vertical Machining Centers, but we also have one HAAS Turning Center. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and manufacturing specifications to ensure precise fabrication. Set up tooling, fixtures, and workpieces accurately using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and other precision measuring instruments. Perform routine machine maintenance, troubleshoot issues promptly, and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards. Support lean manufacturing initiatives by optimizing workflows, reducing waste, and maintaining a clean work environment. Requirements Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines and CNC lathes with Fanuc type controls or similar Seimens controls. Strong knowledge of CNC programming, CAD (Computer-Aided Design), CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing), and blueprint reading. Mechanical aptitude with understanding of manufacturing processes. Familiarity with precision measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM). Ability to interpret technical drawings and GD&T specifications accurately. Basic math skills for calculating dimensions, tolerances, and machining parameters. Knowledge of tooling setup, hand tools, power tools, and proper use of tooling materials. Commitment to safety protocols and quality standards in a fast-paced production environment. $27.00 - $33.00 per hour
