CNC Machinist

We are seeking a CNC machinist to join our team. Ideally we are looking for someone with 3+ years of experience in either mill, lathe or swiss. If you have experience setting up or programming that is a big plus. Mon•Fri schedule, pay is flexible based on experience. Benefits included with the position.

salary:

$60,000•$80,000 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM•4

High SchoolResponsibilitiesResponsibilities Machine Setup:

Run various 2-3 axis machines, both mills and lathes.

Fanuc Proficiency:

Navigate Fanuc control panels to load programs, set data, and troubleshoot alarms.

Tool Management:

Assemble, measure, and load tooling; perform necessary tool changes during production runs.

Offsets & Adjustments:

Accurately dial in tool height offsets (length and diameter) and work coordinate systems (G54, G55, etc.) to maintain tight tolerances.

Program Review:

Read and interpret G-Code and M-Code to ensure the machine is performing the correct operations; make minor edits at the controller if necessary.

Quality Control:

Inspect the first piece and in-process parts using calipers, micrometers, and height gauges to ensure dimensions match the blueprints.
