This position is temp-to-hire, paying $20-25/hour with a small, family-run precision manufacturingpany producing highly customizedponents for advanced technical applications. Thepany is looking for someone with ~2-5 years of hands-on CNC or manual machining, welding, or related tight tolerance / precision manufacturing experience who enjoys learning new skills and working in a clean, detail-oriented environment. This is not a large production environment w everyday looks the same - this role offers exposure to multiple aspects of the manufacturing process and the opportunity to develop a broad technical skill set over time.
Responsibilities:
Operate and support CNC and manual machining equipment including mills and lathes Perform TIG welding on small, precisionponents and assemblies, or train into TIG welding responsibilities based on prior experience Assist with machine setup, machining, assembly, inspection, deburring, cleaning, and packaging activities as needed Work with small, precisionponents requiring close attention to detail and quality and tight tolerance Read and follow work instructions, drawings, and specifications Support precision, custom and low-volume manufacturing projects Maintain a clean,anized, and safety-conscious work environment Learn specialized manufacturing processes and gradually take on additional responsibilities over time
Qualifications:
2-5 years of overall precision or custom manufacturing / machine shop experience preferred Experience with CNC machining, welding, or related precision manufacturing processes Candidates with exposure to both CNC machining and TIG welding are strongly preferred Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Comfortable working with small parts and detail-oriented work Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities in a small-shop environment Machine setup experience, manual machining experience (mills, lathes), inspection experience, or custom manufacturing experience are all considered a plus Candidates with hands-on experience in CNC machining, manual machining, TIG or other welding, or custom/precision manufacturing who are eager to learn skills in each area and grow long-term with a small, family-runanization are encouraged to .
Pay Details:
