Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and analytical CNC Machinist to join our talented production team on either our 1st or 2nd shift. In this role, you will operate advanced machinery, interpret quality reports, and optimize setups for a wide variety of custom parts. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic job shop environment and possesses strong problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Setup, program, and operate complex CNC machines. Analyze CMM inspection reports to verify part dimensions. Perform precise machine offsets and adjustments based on CMM data. Manage rapid changeovers for short-run, high-mix production cycles. Inspect workflows to ensure compliance with strict blueprint tolerances.
Required Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of professional CNC machining experience.
Environment:
Proven background working in a fast-paced job shop setting.
Metrology:
Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and act on CMM inspection reports.
Technical Skills:
Strong blueprint reading skills and deep understanding of GD&T.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience:
5 or more years of professional CNC machining experience.
Multi-Axis:
5 or more years of hands-on 5-axis CNC machining experience.
Programming:
Proficiency in CNC programming (G-code, Mastercam, or similar software).
CMM Skills:
Experience programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
