Production Machinist (all shifts)

Mill-Max Mfg. Corp., in Oyster Bay, NY, is one of the world's leading manufacturers of electronic interconnect components. We currently have several full-time Production Machinist opportunities to join our dynamic group in various departments on all shifts. Production Machinists use machinery to create and assemble machined pin connectors used in the electronics industry. They are generally assigned to one or more machines and expected to meet a production quota. They must always monitor their machines to ensure that they are working properly; when they are not, troubleshooting may be necessary. Reading blueprints and shop drawings is an essential part of the position and basic arithmetic skills are necessary in order to properly measure items needed in production. Much of the work is done independently so it is important to be self-driven. Attention to detail is also important, as the goods produced must be assessed for quality. If goods are not coming out as they should, the machinist should evaluate the situation to determine what is wrong. Pay:

$20.00

• $24.00 per hour base plus differential as noted First shift: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday
• Friday Second shift: 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM, Monday
• Friday 10% wage differential for second shift employees.

Third shift:

12:30 AM

• 7:30 AM Tuesday
• Saturday.

30% wage differential for third shift employees.

Second and Third Shift:
