CNC Machinist I

00 per Hour + 10% Shift Differential for 2nd Shift (Candidates must be willing to relocate to the Syracuse, NY area at their own expense if not currently local.) We are seeking experienced CNC Machinists who can independently set up, operate, and program CNC milling machines while producing high-quality precision components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. 00 per hour Additional 10% shift differential New hires may train on 1st shift before transitioning to 2nd shift Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, and program CNC milling machines Work with both horizontal and vertical CNC machining centers Edit and troubleshoot G-Code programs at the machine Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions Apply GD&T principles to ensure part accuracy Select proper tooling, fixturing, and machining parameters Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections Utilize micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments Troubleshoot machining issues and make process adjustments as needed Maintain production and quality documentation Perform routine machine maintenance and support continuous improvement efforts Follow all safety, quality, and housekeeping standards QualificationsRequired Minimum of 7 years of CNC machining experience Experience setting up and operating CNC milling machines Ability to program and edit G-Code at the machine Experience with Haas, Matsuura, or similar CNC equipment Strong understanding of horizontal and vertical machining centers Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings Strong knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) Experience performing quality inspections using precision measuring equipment Ability to troubleshoot machining and programming issues independently High School Diploma or GED Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting Ability to lift up to 35 pounds as needed Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment Compensation & Benefits Eligible employees may receive: Competitive Hourly Pay 10% Shift Differential for 2nd Shift Multiple Medical Plan Options Dental Coverage Vision Coverage Company-Paid Life Insurance 401(k) Retirement Plan Paid Holidays Paid Vacation Paid Sick Time Educational Assistance Programs Accident, Cancer, Critical Care, and Disability Coverage Employee Referral Program Company Events and Employee Appreciation Activities Safety and Performance Incentives Why Apply?
