Job Description

  • Now Hiring:
    Grinding Operator
  • We are seeking a dedicated Machine/Grinder Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating finish grinding machines, ensuring quality and precision in all tasks.
  • Responsibilities
  • + Set up and operate finish grinding machines. + Select specific speeds and feeds based on materials used. + Dress grinding wheels for optimal performance. + Conduct quality inspections of dimensions and tolerances. + Detect any material defects and report them to the supervisor.
  • Recommended Skills
  • + Proficiency in grinder and surface grinding techniques. + Experience with micrometers and calipers. + Strong quality control skills. + Experience in machine operation, including CNC lathe and CNC mill beneficial but not mandatory

  • Work Environment
  • The work environment is a production setting in a climate-controlled facility. We are able to hire on either 1st or 2nd shift schedules.

  • This is a Permanent position based out of Rochester, NY.
  • Pay and Benefits
  • The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may besubject to specific elections, plan, or program terms. If eligible, the benefitsavailable for this temporary role may include the following:
