CNC Machinist - 5 Axis | Aerospace & Defense Direct Hire | Multiple Openings | Cuyahoga Falls, OH We are partnering with a growing, well-established manufacturer supporting high-profile custom platforms across military, aerospace, and space programs. Due to continued growth and recent investment in new equipment, we are actively hiring multiple CNC Machinists across 2 shifts. This is an opportunity to work on complex, high-precision components and tooling in a modern, climate-controlled facility with advanced machining capabilities. Schedule 1st

Shift:

6:30am - 5:00pm 2nd

Shift:

5:00pm - 3:30am (12% shift premium) Open to candidates interested in weekend shift schedules What You'll Be Doing Set up and operate 5-axis CNC machining centers in a high-mix, low-volume environment Work on a combination of one-off prototypes and production (PPM) aerospace components Machine complex parts and tooling for military, space, and defense applications Hold tight tolerances around .003" and tighter Perform first piece and in-process inspections using standard measurement tools Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T requirements Make adjustments at the machine to ensure quality and efficiency What We're Looking For Experience setting up and operating CNC machines (5-axis strongly preferred) Background in aerospace, defense, or precision machining environments Experience working with materials such as: Titanium Stainless steel Nickel alloys Aluminum Composite materials Familiarity with controls such as Fanuc, Siemens, or Heidenhain Ability to read blueprints and work to tight tolerances Experience in prototype, one-off, or low-volume machining environments preferred Why This Opportunity Work on high-impact programs across aerospace, defense, and space industries Exposure to advanced 5-axis machining and complex geometries Growing company with continued investment in new technology and equipment Clean, climate-controlled facility with modern machines Multiple openings offering long-term stability and growth Benefits Medical coverage with HSA and FSA options Dental and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Short-term and long-term disability Company-paid life insurance and AD&D Paid vacation and holidays If you're looking to move into a more advanced machining environment and work on complex, meaningful projects, this is a strong opportunity to grow your skillset and be part of a stable, expanding team.
