Job Description

DAYTON LAMINA
™ is an international manufacturing company with approximately 1,100 employees and $200 million annual sales. We are the worldwide industry leader in the production of catalog and special metal forming tools.
Summary:
CNC Machinists will be required to set-up and operate CNC machines to manufacture custom-ordered tool and die components. No programming experience is required. Machinists will be required to work five 8-hours shifts with possible OT on weekends.
Responsibilities:
Performs variety of production functions, including but not limited to:
  • Responsible for setting up and operating various computer numerically controlled machines to perform machining operations.
  • Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjusts machine controls required.
  • Works with engineers, production personnel, programmers or others to resolve machining problems and product issues.
  • Verifies conformance of finished work-piece to specifications
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience on CNC mills or lathes.
  • Must be familiar with and be able to use precision measuring equipment.
