• Job Summary:

• In this position, you will learn to adequately perform the duties and responsibilities of the Rotor Cell team certified operator occupation.

• Essential Functions:

• + Process rotors through various machining, EDM, and supporting operations in a team-oriented cell.

+ Responsible for maintaining cell inventory. + Set up and operate numerically controlled machines and other equipment. + Make and verify any necessary corrections to program, set up, tooling and machine settings with the assistance of the Supervisor and/or Manufacturing Engineer. + Use various gauges when required. + Provide a finish in accordance with the manufacturing outline and blueprint requirements including but not limited to removal of burrs and edge breaks. + Saw material as necessary. + Clean and move parts as necessary. + Pass an annual eye exam. + Responsible for product verification and process control including using necessary measuring devices. + Keep charts and records as required on completed sequences and processes. + Rotate to different workstations within the cell + Perform required rework, secondary operations, routine maintenance per Appendix A, and appropriate safety checks in the cell. + Document all non-conformances through specified data collection procedures. + Inspect work and verify that product meets all appropriate standards at each operational step in the cell. + Complete all required paperwork. + Ensure all material is properly cleaned, identified, protected, and stacked prior to movement. + Work with internal and external customers and suppliers and participate in continuous improvement activities as required. + Complete all required documentation including but not limited to operator inspection records, job routers, NCR's, reject tags, move tickets, and stock tickets. + Perform other duties as assigned by department supervisor + Utilize computer to access various databases. ​

• Wire
• EDM or CNC Grinder experience required.

Knowledge:

+ Must have basic reading and writing skills + Requires basic math skills to make necessary calculations such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and trigonometry. +

Skills:

+ Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, detail sheets, manufacturing outlines, and written instructions + Must be able to develop programs from manufacturing outlines + Requires a working knowledge of fixtures, cutting tools, and selecting and dressing wheels for finish requirements. +

Education/Certification:

High School diploma or equivalent +
