CNC Machinist

•Now Hiring 1st & 2nd Shift CNC Machinist•20% 2nd Shift Differential Job Summary We are seeking a CNC Machinist responsible for machining components to specified dimensions and tolerances while meeting production standards and assigned router hours. Key Responsibilities Set up, adjust, and operate CNC machines to perform complex machining operations with tight tolerances and varied specifications Select and secure fixtures, tools, attachments, and materials Inspect and maintain cutting tools for performance and safety Set and adjust machining parameters (speed, feed, coolant, depth of cut) Monitor machine operation; identify and correct malfunctions or deviations Perform basic CNC programming and edit programs to optimize performance Maintain equipment, tooling, and work area in proper working condition Recommend improvements to processes, equipment, and product quality Qualifications Experience operating CNC equipment for progressive machining Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Strong math, mechanical, and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and effective time management Basic CNC programming knowledge High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training preferred Ability to set up and operate CNC equipment (VTL, horizontal/vertical mills, horizontal lathes) Ability to operate forklifts and overhead cranes Proficiency with measuring instruments and equipment maintenance Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; heavier items require assistance or lifting devices Additional Information Equal Opportunity Employer (M/F/Disability/Veteran) Benefits effective upon hire: medical, dental, vision, PTO, and 401(k) Eligible for production bonus plan (up to $2,000 annually)
