Job Description

CNC Lathe & mill, Setup and Machinist Highly
EXPERIENCED
large part machinist. Fanuc & Mazak control experience as well as full working knowledge of modern CNC turning centers, steady rest, tail stock and G-code is required . The qualified candidates will be primarily responsible for setup and running turning machines and machining centers (2 to 5 axis). Knowledge of tooling and basic program troubleshooting is also required. Our primary business is large, high value, low volume (1 to 10 pieces) precision machined components. We are a well established contract machine shop founded in 1945.

Minimum 5 years experience in setup and operation of cnc machines 2. Must have own tools 3. G-Code knowledge & CAD/CAM 4. Demonstrated ability to read blueprints and understand drawing features 5. Full understanding of tool offsets 6. Ability to follow written instructions and procedures 7. Problem solving & math skills CNC Machinist Required experience: CNC setup/machining: 5 years Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints to set up and operate CNC machines efficiently.
  • Utilize CNC programming knowledge to input commands and adjust settings as needed.
  • Perform regular maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.
  • Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to verify part dimensions.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any machining issues promptly.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards to produce accurate and high-quality machined parts.
