Additionaly, we are looking for someone who wants to build a team , not just run machines The position we are replacing has been held by the same machinist for nearly 12 years, and he will be available by phone to help with the transition to ensure a successful handoff. Leadership Opportunity This position is being hired with the intention of transitioning into our CNC Lead role. The successful candidate will spend their first several months learning our products, processes, equipment, and team. Once comfortable and fully trained, they will transition into a leadership position within the department. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced machinist who wants to continue working hands-on while also taking ownership of a department and helping guide a team toward success. Future CNC Lead Responsibilities Lead and support CNC department personnel Train and mentor machinists and operators Coordinate daily workflow and production priorities Monitor schedules and ensure department deliverables are met Track department performance metrics and production data Maintain quality standards and accountability Assist with process improvements and efficiency initiatives Work closely with management to identify opportunities for growth and improvement Help develop and maintain a positive, team-oriented culture If you enjoy leadership, mentoring others, and taking ownership of results, this position offers a clear path into a key leadership role within our organization.
