We are currently seeking several CNC Lathe Machinist for our Shields Manufacturing facility in Tualatin Oregon. (On-site position) Multiple shifts available.

Team members will carry out a variety of tasks in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment. CNC Lathe Machinist (Levels 1-3) - CNC Lathe MachinistAbility to read and understand drawingsStarts and observes machine operationCalculates and set controls to regulate machining factorsProcess offset changes unassistedCheck parts using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring devices.

Verify conformance of completed workWorking on lathes such as Mori Seiki (NLX2500, NLX3000, NLX4000, NZX2000), Hitachi Seiki, Nakamura Tome, Haas TL-2, Manual Lathe.

Requirements:

Extensive machine shop/metal working skillsPossesses the ability to work with decimalsComfortable working with close tolerances (thousandths)Ability to set up your own jobs and run first partAbility to adjust programs if required
