CNC LATHE MACHINIST

Ameri-Source Specialty Products conveniently located in Bethel Park's Industrial Park has an opening for full time experienced CNC Lathe operator who can help enhance the productivity of our organization. This is a true machinist's position and not just a parts loader/unloader.

• Load/unload parts from machine
• Works from blueprints.
• Sets up Haas Lathe Machines by installing and adjusting three and four-jaw chucks, tools, attachments, collects, bushings, cams, gears, stops, and stock pushers
• Lays out reference lines and points as a guide in machining operations when necessary
• Control and adjust machine settings
• Preferably operates assigned machine shop tools including other machines like mill, horizontal and vertical saws, grinders ETC
• Produces quality parts in a timely manner
• Performs routine preventative maintenance and cleaning on assigned machines
• Learns to use the hand tools needed to perform the job

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical school training highly preferred
• Working knowledge and experience with Mastercam preferred.
• 2 years of applicable CNC Machine experience required
• 3 years of mechanical assembly experience preferred
• Previous experience working with Graphite highly preferred.
• Basic reading skills with the ability to follow instructions
• Basic computer navigation and utilization skills
• Ability to perform work accurately, thoroughly & independently
• High attention to detail and self-motivation skills 7am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday work schedule.
