Manufacturing / Precision Machining Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Machinist with Mazak Lathe experience to join our team. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC lathe equipment to produce high-quality precision parts. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Mazak machines and the ability to interpret CAD drawings to ensure accurate machining and production. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate Mazak CNC lathe machines to manufacture precision components Interpret CAD drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to determine machining requirements Perform machine setup, including tooling selection, offsets, and program adjustments Monitor machining processes to ensure quality, accuracy, and efficiency Inspect finished parts using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges Make necessary adjustments to maintain tight tolerances and meet production standards Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company policies Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes and resolve issues Required Qualifications Proven experience operating Mazak CNC lathes Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and materials Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings and blueprints Experience with machine setup, programming edits, and troubleshooting Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications Experience with Mazatrol programming Background in high-precision or production machining environments Familiarity with additional CNC equipment (mills, multi-axis machines, etc.) Rate / Salary $18 - $20 per Hour Sector Manufacturing/Distribution Category Skilled Trade Skills / Experience Mazak Lathes Benefits Full Our Reference
