As a Machinist Trainee, you'll contribute to manufacturing operations by supporting machine setup and operation, ensuring quality, and maintaining a clean and safe workspace. You'll work closely with experienced team members to learn the ins and outs of machining, building a rewarding career in manufacturing. What You'll Do As a Machinist Trainee, you will be responsible for: Setting up and operating various machines, including lathes, CNC machines, grinders, and saws, to produce precision parts. Reading blueprints and technical specifications to follow project requirements accurately. Adjusting machine settings to optimize quality and efficiency during production runs. Inspecting finished parts using measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers to ensure compliance with specifications. Performing basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting minor issues to minimize downtime. Following strict safety guidelines and maintaining a clean work environment to ensure safety for yourself and your team. Lifting and moving materials weighing up to 50 pounds as needed to support manufacturing operations. What You'll Bring The ideal candidate will have: Some machining experience with CNC or manual machines (training available for entry-level applicants). Ability to read blueprints and use measurement tools accurately. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices. Reliable work ethic and ability to stand and work through full shifts. Location & Schedule:

This position is on-site in Harrisburg, Oregon, and offers a Monday through Friday schedule, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
