Machinist

Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Machinist, where your expertise will drive precision and quality in producing complex components. As a vital member of our workshop, you will operate and program CNC machines, interpret detailed blueprints, and utilize advanced measurement tools to ensure every part meets exact specifications. Duties Set up and operate CNC machining equipment such as CNC lathes and CNC milling machines, primarily utilizing Fanuc controls or similar systems Program CNC machines using CAM programming software and interpret G-code to produce precise parts Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications to ensure accurate manufacturing Use precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to verify dimensions and tolerances Maintain and troubleshoot machining tools, hand tools, tooling setups, and electrical discharge machining (EDM) equipment for optimal performance Follow lean manufacturing principles to improve workflow efficiency and reduce waste Assist in assembly processes and welding tasks when necessary to support production goals What they need to be able to do: Perform all CNC Machinist responsibilities Set up machines independently using setup sheets Run first piece and confirm part meets print Troubleshoot basic issues and avoid crashes Stronger candidates will also have: Experience with Mazak (Integrex, 5-axis) or Star Swiss machines Experience supporting changeovers and production

Pay:

$26.18 - $35.00 per hour
