On the Job Read and interpret job specifications, blueprints, and technical drawings to determine machine settings and material requirements. Set up CNC equipment, adjust stops and guides, and position workpieces to meet dimensional tolerances. Operate machinery using controls, pedals, and programmed settings; perform minor program edits and properly save changes. Inspect parts for defects and measure dimensions using precision tools to ensure quality control compliance. Perform secondary operations including deburring, rivet installation, and spot welding. Complete routine preventive maintenance such as oiling machines and maintaining dies and tooling. Load and unload materials, stack, label, pack, and transport finished components. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with manufacturing best practices. What Gets You in the Door High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum 1 year of manufacturing, CNC machining, or industrial assembly experience. Ability to use hand tools, measuring devices, and powered equipment. Strong math skills including basic algebra and geometry. Team-oriented with solid communication and problem-solving abilities. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
