LEAK TECHNICIAN

As a Leak Repair Technician, you are required to play a key role in delivering on-line leak sealing solutions on live, pressurized systems in high-risk industrial environments. You'll work directly on operating systems in oil & gas and chemical facilities applying specialized techniques to control leaks without interrupting production. This job requires a strong mechanical background, critical thinking, and a commitment to precision. Experience is required in torquing, bolting, beveling, specialty field machining, pipe cutting, and clam shell operations. You will be working on valve bonnets, valve bodies, flanges, check valves, piping, compressor casings, exchanger heads, welder and threaded connections. Boiler maker experience is preferred but not mandatory. Applicants must be at least 18 years old due to federal regulations. Ability to read, write, and speak English is required. Must be able to pass a drug screening and be comfortable working at heights. This position lasts for 8 months and consists of 7/10 shifts at State Services in Ingleside, Texas and does not offer per diem No TWIC card is required for this position. Pay will be determined based on experience.
