CNC Manufacturing Machinist -
Precision Components Worksite:
Houston, TX 77041 You build what others imagine. Join a team where your craftsmanship turns drawings into dependable parts, run after run. Bring your expertise, curiosity, and pride in precision. The Impact You'll Make Own full-cycle machining: set up, prove out, and operate CNC machines to hit exact specifications. Translate blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings into efficient machining strategies. Keep a vigilant eye on quality and throughput, intervening early to maintain consistency. Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot to keep equipment in top condition. Work shoulder-to-shoulder with teammates to improve processes and reduce variation. Maintain a clean, safe cell that reflects disciplined workmanship. Capture production metrics and escalate discrepancies promptly. Your First 90 Days Days 1-30: Learn our parts, programs, and standards; complete supervised setups and first articles. Days 31-60: Run independent jobs, refine offsets, and contribute ideas to improve cycle times. Days 61-90: Lead complex setups for production runs and mentor peers on best practices. What You Bring High school diploma or equivalent; formal machining training or certification preferred. Demonstrated experience as a CNC machinist (or equivalent manufacturing role). Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation with confidence. Strong command of CNC programming principles and machine operation. Proficiency with precision measurement tools and inspection methods. Detail-oriented, resourceful, and methodical problem solver. Self-directed yet collaborative; clear and professional communicator.
