Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CNC Mill Machinist for a machine shop in North Houston. This position will primarily work on Haas CNC mills producing valves, fittings, and other machined parts. Candidates must have hands-on experience setting up and operating Haas mills and be comfortable working in a job shop environment.
Schedule:
Monday•Friday, 7:00 AM•3:30
PM Pay:
$24.00•$32.00 per hour (based on experience and programming ability) Responsibilities Set up and operate Haas CNC milling machines (VF-Series) Read and interpret blueprints and machining drawings Machine oil & gas components including valves, fittings, and related parts Perform tooling changes and make program edits as needed during production Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools Maintain quality standards and production requirements Create and modify CNC programs if qualified Requirements Minimum 4 years of CNC Mill machining experience Experience setting up and operating Haas CNC mills Experience with Fanuc controls Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Proficient with calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools Must have basic machinist hand tools Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Preferred Qualifications CNC programming experience Experience with CAM software such as Mastercam, GibbsCAM, Fusion 360, or similar Experience machining oil & gas components Experience with 4th-axis machining Compensation will be based on overall experience, setup capability, and CNC programming proficiency. Candidates with the ability to create and edit programs independently may qualify for the higher end of the pay range.

$24.00•$32.00 per hour
