Job Description

iStudio Projects is seeking an experienced Lead CNC Machinist (Haas) to join our team and take a key role in daily machining and fabrication operations. We are looking for a highly capable, hands-on professional who can step in quickly, run critical equipment with confidence, and help drive quality, efficiency, and output across the shop. This is an ideal opportunity for a machinist who takes pride in precision work, thrives in a production environment, and is ready to be a trusted lead on the floor. bandsaw Dragon A400 5-axis rotary machine Shop Sabre Sidekick 10 plasma table Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, and optimize production across multiple machines and fabrication processes Run the Dragon A400 5-axis rotary machine with accuracy and efficiency Program, operate, and troubleshoot the Shop Sabre Sidekick 10 plasma table Set up and run the Haas ST-15 lathe for precision turning applications Operate the

bandsaw for material preparation and cutting Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and production documentation Select proper tooling, fixtures, feeds, and speeds to meet job requirements Maintain tight tolerances and produce consistent, high-quality parts Perform in-process and final quality checks using precision measuring tools Identify and solve machining, tooling, and process issues quickly to minimize downtime Help prioritize workflow and support production deadlines Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment Support team performance by sharing knowledge and leading by example Qualifications Proven experience as a CNC machinist (Haas preferred) in a manufacturing, fabrication, or production environment Demonstrated ability to work independently and take ownership of machining output Strong setup, operation, and troubleshooting skills Ability to read blueprints and translate specifications into accurate production work High attention to detail and commitment to workmanship Strong mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills Dependable, professional, and able to perform with minimal supervision Prior leadership or lead machinist experience preferred Experienced in Fusion 360 and G-Coding preferred What Success Looks Like in This Role You can come in, learn the workflow quickly, and make an immediate contribution You are confident across multiple machines and processes You hold high standards for quality, organization, and efficiency You are someone the team can rely on for strong execution and sound judgment on the shop floor Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to [50] lbs Ability to work safely around industrial machinery and fabrication equipment
Pay:
$25.00 - $40.00 per hour
