CNC Machinist Wage:
$24- 29/hour

1stHours:
7:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday QPS Employment Group is hiring a CNC Machinist for a company in Houston, TX. This is an associate to hire opportunity. CNC Machinist Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Maintain a safe working environment and promote health and safety awareness
- Ensure accuracy and efficiency before and throughout CNC machine operations
- Keep measuring and machining tools in proper working condition
- Verify that all products go through the quality control process
- Measure and mark equipment, objects, or parts to meet grinding and polishing standards
- Maintain machine parts and components to reduce rework and scrap
- Routinely follow work orders and interpret customer specifications with strong attention to safety and quality, working independently
- Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives
- Perform additional duties as required
CNC Machinist Requirements:
- Experience or training in a manufacturing environment
- Experience operating turning machines and machine tool programs
- Understanding of CNC lathe and/or mill operations
- Ability to use hand tools, precision measuring instruments, and machining tools
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables
