DOE (Based on Experience) Are you an experienced machinist who enjoys working with precision equipment and producing high-quality parts? We're looking for a skilled Weiler Machinist to join our team and help manufacture components used in inflatable packers, downhole tools, and other specialized products. 🚀 What You'll Be Doing ✅ Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and sample parts ✅ Set up and operate manual machinery, including Weiler lathes and other machine shop equipment ✅ Machine metallic and non-metallic parts to exact specifications ✅ Produce and inspect straight threads, taper threads, Acme threads, and buttress threads ✅ Measure, mark, and prepare materials for machining operations ✅ Select and install cutting tools, fixtures, attachments, and accessories ✅ Calculate and adjust machining settings including speeds, feeds, coolant flow, and cutting depths ✅ Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality standards ✅ Inspect finished products using precision measuring instruments ✅ Work closely with production personnel and engineers to resolve machining challenges ✅ Perform routine machine maintenance and report equipment issues ✅ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment ⭐ What We're Looking For ✔ Previous manual machining experience required ✔ Experience operating Weiler lathes preferred ✔ Ability to work with minimal supervision ✔ Strong understanding of machining practices and manufacturing processes ✔ Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints ✔ Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, indicators, and gauges ✔ Knowledge of raw materials, quality control standards, and production processes ✔ Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work ✔ Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills 🛠 Skills & Knowledge 🔹 Manual Lathe Operation 🔹 Thread Cutting (Straight, Taper, Acme & Buttress) 🔹 Blueprint Reading 🔹 Precision Measurement 🔹 Manufacturing & Production Processes 🔹 Quality Control & Inspection 🔹 Machine Setup & Maintenance 🔹 Mechanical Aptitude 🎯 Why Join Us? ✨ Stable manufacturing environment ✨ Hands-on technical work ✨ Opportunity to work with specialized oilfield equipment ✨ Team-oriented atmosphere ✨ Growth opportunities for skilled machinists 📅 Apply Today!
