Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a conventional/manual lathe machinist with experience in the repairing and/or manufacturing of hydraulic cylinders to join our team at Hannon. This role requires a strong machinist background with the ability to work safely and independently. This position does not involve using CNC machines. We encourage anyone with prior experience to apply. Experience Knowledge of hydraulic cylinder components (seals, fasteners, & common materials). Knowledge of common procedures and processes used in the repair or manufacture of hydraulic cylinders. Proficiency in the use of a manual engine lathe, hand tools, and air tools used in the machining industry. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Other relevant notes It is preferred the machinist has their own tools and measuring instruments, but it is not required. We offer a tool program to help you pay over time. The environment is a heavy metal workshop/machine shop. Not climate controlled. Pay is based on previous work experience.
