CNC Machinist La Marque, TX 77568 $28.00 - $37.70 an hour - Full-time $28.00 - $37.70 an hour - Full-time $7,500 Sign-On Bonus.
A&A Machine & Fabrication, LLC Position Title:
CNC Machinist (non-exempt, hourly) Position reports to CNC Machine Shop Supervisor A&A Machine & Fabrication specializes in the manufacture of LDPE High Pressure Piping, Pressure Vessels, Standard Piping, Syngas Burners and Process Skids. A&A is also a full service Machining facility, providing both Manual and CNC capabilities for the Petrochemical Industry.
Position Summary:
Responsible for operating machine tools to produce precision metal parts. Produces small batches or large quantities of metal parts. Ensure products meet precise specifications
Duties:
  • Prepare and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, turning, milling etc.
  • Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc.
  • Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines.
  • Prepare a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications.
  • Set machines to complete full cycles to fabricate large number of parts.
  • Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result.
  • Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly.
  • Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality.
  • Skill in operating CNC machinery and tooling for Lathe and Mills
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.
  • Mechanical aptitude and good math skills
  • A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach
  • Good communication abilities
  • Other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
This position is required to have manual dexterity and the ability to maneuver parts in a rotating machine; this includes but is not limited to twisting, turning, bending, and stooping. This position stands for 8+ hours a day; lifting and rotating 25 lbs on a continual basis.
