for a Machinist (CNC)!

Compensation:

$18.00

Hourly Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30

PM Location :

Mesquite, TX 75149

Position Overview:

They will set up, operate, and perform simple programming to one or more machines used in the production of hollow metal doors in workstations that include but are not limited to machines that: bend, notch, punch, form, or strengthen frame parts.

Job Duties:

Operate shear machine, transferring large sheets of flat steel from pallet to shearing table. Set dimensions for shearing based on Sales Orders. Perform quality control checks on sheared products for accuracy. Continue processing product until Sales Order completion. Mark each piece with Sales Order and Line #. Stage materials on carts for movement to the next station. Clean workstation daily, including scrap disposal. Future training may include CNC punch and Press Brake operations.

Position Requirements:

High school diploma or GED equivalent. Previous manufacturing experience preferred. Basic computer and math skills, including fraction/decimal conversion. May require forklift operation. Ability to operate small hand or power tools. Must lift up to 75 lbs repetitively and push/pull carts up to 75 lbs. Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks, including twisting, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
