Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking multiple experienced and detail-oriented personnel to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidates will have a solid understanding of machining operations, be able to set up CNC Mills with minimal supervision, and ensure efficient production of high-quality components.Key Responsibilities:
Set up and prepare CNC Mills (Vertical and Horizontal) for production runs according to blueprints and work instructions. Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing specifications. Select and install proper tooling, fixtures, and materials required for each job. Perform machine offsets, edits to programs, and first-article inspections. Monitor and adjust machine operation to ensure parts meet quality standards. Perform routine in-process inspection using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other measuring tools. Troubleshoot basic set-up or machining issues and make appropriate adjustments. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company and OSHA standards. Communicate effectively with supervisors, engineers, and quality personnel regarding production issues. Document setup sheets, tooling changes, and inspection results as required.Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; technical training or trade certification preferred. 3-5 years of experience in machining, with emphasis on operating Mills Proficient in CNC machine operation and basic G-code understanding. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Strong knowledge of metalworking tools, materials, and precision measuring instruments. Basic understanding of cutting speeds, feeds, and tooling applications. Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and stand for extended periods. Familiarity withISO 9001 / AS9100
procedures.Preferred Skills:
Experience with multiple machine brands ( DMG Mori and Doosan a plus). Basic program editing skills at the machine control. Understanding of Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement environments.Compensation & Benefits:
