Job Title:
CNC Machinist Job Description We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team, specializing in the setup and operation of CNC lathe and mill machines. This role supports our diverse operations in plastic and metal additive technologies, CNC machining, injection molding & tooling, urethane casting, and sheet metal fabrication, mainly serving the medical device and semiconductor industries at our plant in Round Rock. Responsibilities Setup and operate CNC mill and lathe machine centers. Perform MDI (Manual Data Input) programming using G-code editing and Mastercam. Inspect parts using manual gauges and instruments. Understand and apply GD&T principles and read 2-D drawings. Monitor and inspect parts throughout the machining process. Ensure compliance with all company quality and safety procedures. Communicate and collaborate with team members to share information and solve technical issues. Participate in Lean and 6S manufacturing events. Essential Skills 5+ years of experience running 3 and 5-axis Haas and Mazak Mill machines. Proficient in Haas conversational programming and Mastercam. Knowledge of tooling and tooling requirements. High school diploma or equivalent. Additional Skills & Qualifications Strong work ethic and high attention to detail. Flexible and able to work in a fast-paced team environment. Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information. Great communication skills. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a custom job shop with 40-45 employees, covering a 20,000 square foot facility with about 20 machines. Day shift schedule is Monday to Thursday, 6:00 am
  • 3:30 pm, and Friday, 6:00 am
  • 10:00 am. The second shift schedule is Monday to Thursday, 3:30 pm
  • 2:30 am. Expect frequent overtime hours, though less than 10 hours a week. Enjoy a collaborative and dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Round Rock, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00
  • $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
