Job Responsibilities:
Setup and operate engine lathes and knee mills to produce precision parts. Read, interpret, and work from blueprints and technical drawings to ensure part accuracy. Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds to optimize machining operations. Perform precision measurements using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring instruments to maintain tight tolerances. Collaborate with the team to improve processes, enhance efficiency, and drive continuous improvement.
Job Qualifications:
Some hands-on experience operating engine lathes and knee mills. Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings. Skilled in the use of precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers, indicators). Experience with surface grinders is a bonus.
