Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machines, lathes, and milling equipment Perform tooling setup, offsets, and machine adjustments to meet production specifications Install and adjust collets, guide bushings, bar loaders, and coolant systems Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and CNC programs (G-code) Monitor machine performance (feeds, speeds, tool wear) and make adjustments as needed Perform first article inspections and quality checks using precision measuring tools Troubleshoot CNC machines and bar loaders to resolve production issues Conduct tool changes, retooling, and machine teardown procedures Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure high-quality output Maintain a clean, organized workspace and dispose of materials properly Qualifications 2-4 years of CNC setup machinist experience (not entry-level) High School Diploma or GED required Strong understanding of CNC machining, milling, and tooling setup processes Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T principles Experience with feeds, speeds, tool paths, and machining adjustments Proficiency with measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, and gauges Experience with bar feeders/loaders and tool offset adjustments Strong troubleshooting ability with minimal supervision Ability to lift up to 30 lbs Preferred Skills Knowledge of G-code programming and CNC controls Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machining processes Experience in aerospace, medical, or automotive manufacturing environments Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, precision-based setting Pay $20.00 Per Hour (DOE) Schedule Day Shift Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM Nexeo Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, Limited Life, Short-Term Disability Refer a Friend Bonus Other Financial Incentives (Bonuses)
