In this role, you will operate and set up various CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines, including CNC lathes and milling machines, to produce precision components according to detailed specifications. Your expertise in CNC programming, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge will ensure the highest quality standards are met while maintaining efficient production workflows. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machining technologies and contribute to innovative manufacturing projects. Responsibilities Operate, set up, and maintain CNC machinery such as CNC lathes and milling machines, ensuring optimal performance. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) specifications, and engineering documents to ensure precise machining. Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and other precision instruments to verify part dimensions. Conduct routine machine inspections, troubleshoot issues, and perform necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards. Requirements Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC lathes and milling machines. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, GD&T specifications, and mechanical diagrams accurately. Mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of manufacturing processes. Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM). Basic math skills for calculating dimensions, tolerances, feeds, speeds, and other machining parameters. Knowledge of tooling setup, fixture design, and the use of hand tools for machining tasks. Ability to work safely with power tools and follow safety protocols. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills; ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
