Job Description

Flexaseal Engineered Seals and Systems, LLC, is a worldwide systems and mechanical seal manufacturer with facilities in Vermont, New York, Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, Washington, and Brazil. After 40 years, Flexaseal is continuing to grow with sales agents and distributors servicing over 50 countries. We are seeking full-time experienced 1st or 2nd shift Manual Lathe Machinists! Machinists would be responsible for regular setup and running of parts, working closely with other production teams, verifying dimensional conformance by reviewing prints, sketches and set-up sheets.
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate a variety of machines and tools to produce precision parts Reads and interprets complex blueprints to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpiece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements. Maintain a variety of machines as required Work closely and professionally with internal team members to find solutions to any problems that arise Perform other Manual Lathe Machinist duties as assigned
Qualifications:
At least 2 years of Experience in working with manual lathes is preferred Experience working in a manufacturing or production type of environment A willingness to learn and grow in a fast paced environment Ability to multitask and prioritize Ability to perform moderate lifting of materials (around 25 lbs.), sit, stand, climb and bend on a regular basis Please include a brief cover letter with your application.
