Cad/Cam Designer Machinist AVEDA Update date : Apr 13, 2026
Jart+, the DECIEM family of brands, including The Ordinary and NIOD, and BALMAIN Beauty. Description Summary Responsible for the end-to-end design and fabricating of parts and components to support manufacturing needs. Combines CAD/CAM design with small batch, mixed production hands-on machining using CNC milling and slant bed lathes, welding, and troubleshooting of mechanical issues. Collaborates with maintenance and operations teams on improvements and projects. Responsibilities Experience with CAD/CAM software such as Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Mastercam, etc. Ability to set up and operate manual and CNC(Hurco) machining equipment (mills, lathes, drill presses, etc.) Ability to design and produce parts to precise specifications. Create and send component drawings to 3rd party machining as needed. Experience in small batch, mixed production environments. Perform welding and cutting as needed Fabricate and modify equipment, guards, and fixtures as needed Partner with Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations on equipment improvements Support equipment installations, startups, and modifications Document work in CMMS (maintenance management system) Assist with continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Education / Experience Technical degree, apprenticeship in machining or related field, or equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience. Required Skills Ability to design and machine end-to-end. CAD/CAM software such as Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Mastercam, or similar. Experience with manual and CNC Experience with welding and general fabrication Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Effective written and verbal communication skills Familiarity with CMMS systems is a plus Apply Now
