Job Description

CNC Machinist (Aerospace)
  • 3-Day Weekends & Competitive Pay Overview Are you a precision-driven Machinist who thrives on variety and technical challenge?
We're looking for a CNC Machinist to join our elite aerospace team. This isn't a "button-pusher" role. You'll be working with everything from 4-axis CNC centers to manual mills and lathes, holding tight tolerances on components that actually take flight.
Location:
Kent What You'll Do Set up and operate a wide range of shop equipment, including CNC and manual lathes, mills, press brakes, shears, expanders, and punch/forming presses. Identify issues within machining processes and collaborate on corrective solutions. Read and interpret technical documentation such as blueprints, sketches, planning sheets, and detailed engineering instructions. Measure parts using precision tools to verify accuracy and ensure all tolerances are met. Work safely and follow all established shop standards and procedures. Enter accurate information into digital manufacturing and timekeeping systems. Support the development of new processes and provide training to less experienced machinists when needed. Contribute ideas to improve tooling, processes, and problem‑solving activities. Core Qualifications Demonstrated ability to set up and run CNC and manual machines, including 3‑ and 4‑axis equipment. Solid knowledge of shop math and trigonometry. Proficient in reading manufacturing drawings and GD&T. Strong communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal direction. Comfortable using indicators, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring devices. Good hand dexterity and mechanical aptitude. Preferred Experience High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in aerospace machining. Interest in mentoring others and assisting teammates in learning machine operations. Mon-Thurs, 2:30 PM
  • 1:00 AM Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Kent, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $32.20
  • $43.70/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
