Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and proficiency in operating various machining tools and equipment. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for producing precision parts and components, ensuring that all specifications are met with the highest quality standards. This role requires a commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Operating machine including grinders, lathes, mills, surface grinder, power and hand tools etc Read and interpret drawings from CAD/CAM blueprints and sketches Create drawings from written notes or reverse engineering Calibrate tools and machines, torqueing procedures, standard repair procedures Prioritize tasks and be flexible to changing tasks Perform cost analysis of repairs or creations Requirements Proven experience as a Machinist or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in SolidWorks, CAD software, and CAM programming. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate precision measuring instruments. Basic math skills for calculations related to measurements and tolerances. Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus. Ability to read technical documents, blueprints, and schematics accurately. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
