- High school diploma or equivalent qualification required
- Translate mechanical documents and engineering drawings
- Excellent eyesight, with or without correction, required
- Strong basic math skills in addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and maintain clean drug screening throughout employment
JOB DUTIES
- Great attention to detail with goal driven approach
- Maintain clean work environment and be able to keep accurate records daily
- Teamwork is essential; employee must be able to work in a team environment under repetitive conditions
- Perform full machine setup including tooling selection, fixture installation and offset adjustments for CNC mills, lathes or other equipment
- Interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings and GD& T to ensure accurate part production
- Monitor machine performance during operation
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometer, gauges) to verify conformance to specifications
- Perform machine maintenance
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to improve processes, reduce waste and increase productivity
- Communicate production concerns, equipment issues or material discrepancies in timely manner
- Support inventory control and material handling as needed
- Move or maneuver up to 45lbs on regular basis and occasionally up to 75 lbs
PREFERRED
- 2 to 3 years' experience as a CNC machine operator preferred
- Certificate or diploma in Engineering and/or Manufacturing is preferred
DAYS/HOURS
Monday-Friday 1st shift: 6:00am-2:30pm or Day shift: flexible hours within assigned shiftPAY:
$25.00 hour starting, depending on experienceEMPLOYER NOTES

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts. Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibrations. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
