This position will interact with decentralized locations, service, sales and production staff and requires focused work. This is a hands-on position, both by procedure and on the floor assistance.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES

Major responsibilities are listed but not limited to the following duties: Machinist must have knowledge of, and be able to competently and safely: Operate various horizontal and vertical lathes, vertical and horizontal mills, and other machine tools as assigned. Use metal cutting tooling. Use micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and other measurement instruments as assigned. Rig loads and operate overhead cranes. Read drawings and make sketches. Interact with and clearly communicate with co-workers in a team-like atmosphere. Stand on your feet at least 8 hr per day. Dead lift at least 60 lb.cient assistance with production planning. Ensure all work is carried out to quality and specification requirements and that documentation is completed on time. Ensure housekeeping is ongoing by maintaining a clean and safe workplace.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

3 years of Machinist experience of a machine shop. 3 years of experience in working with various metals and complex part making. 2 years of experience working with large mutli-axis CNC equipment

Pay:

$27.91 - $34.61 per hour
