CNC Machinist Job Description We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in operating and setting up various CNC machines, ensuring precision machining according to customer specifications and work order instructions. Responsibilities Properly select and use manual mills, lathes, drills, and other equipment according to on-site training. Safely set-up and operate 3, 4, & 5 axis vertical and horizontal CNC Mills. Independently select and load appropriate programs from the network. Understand and edit G code and M code in programs. Execute precision machining according to customer specifications and work order instructions. Essential Skills Proficiency with CNC, lathe, and milling machines. Experience in setting up, blueprint reading, and operating drill presses. Ability to troubleshoot and operate various machines including grinders, shears, and CNC machines. Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and interpret GD&T. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in producing and inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standards. Ability to use measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, bore gages, and height gages. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tacoma, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $46.00/hr.
