CNC Mill Machinist Job Description We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Machinist who will be responsible for maintaining good housekeeping conditions, enforcing safety practices, and completing required documentation. You will notify the supervisor of any abnormal situations for corrective action and make recommendations to improve methods of work performance. Responsibilities Notify supervisor of abnormal situations for corrective action. Make recommendations for improvements in methods of performance of work. Maintain good housekeeping conditions and enforce safety practices. Complete and maintain any required documentation. Essential Skills Strong Geometric Dimensional & Tolerances, and math skills. Ability to read machining CNC programs and have a basic understanding of common 'G' and 'M' codes. Experience with Siemens controls for lathe machine tools. Understanding of basic tabletop gages - Micrometers, Calipers, bore micrometers. Capacity to run multiple machines at once. Additional Skills & Qualifications Good verbal and written communication skills. Organization and time management skills. Problem solving and analysis. Preferred candidates with a few years of on-the-job training or machine shop experience. Swiss lathe experience with more than 5 years on the machine. Why Work Here? Work Environment This position is based in an aerospace machine workshop. Shifts are available on weekdays and swing shifts. You will work with a variety of machines including Okumas, Multi Spindles, and Manual Machines with standard controls. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tukwila, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
