COPY LINK link What You'll Do ing to the Manufacturing Manager, the Spinner is responsible for operating and monitoring spinning machinery to produce metalponents according to production specifications. This role ensures quality standards are met while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Shift Schedule:
2nd shift 3:30PM-12:00AM; training will take place on 1st shift. A shift differential is a part of the totalpensation for this role Technical Job Read work order, blues, and specifications to determine operation requirements Under supervision, operate CNC and hand spin lathe to meet desired specifications Determine the necessary spin tools such as chucks, rollers and trimming tools necessary for the production of spun parts Measure and mark cutting and trimming lines on part, using measuring instruments, scriber, or marking pen Install and align machine accessories, such as rollers, tailstock, and headstock Cut and trim parts by controlling movement of part secured in fixture, on work positioner, or enteringmands to retrieve and start preprogrammed cutting or trimming instructions to part Measure dimensions of finished part using measuring instruments, such as micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators, or check fixture Operate and control torch/heat input to part to achieve desired material temperature May trim, sand, and drill parts, using shop equipment Perform daily/weekly maintenance on spinning equipment/tools (oil, clean, and inspection) Accurately execute Company Process Control (PC) instructions and provide feedback when revisions are needed Document actions bypleting production and quality logs as needed Aplishanization goals by actively exploring opportunities to improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost. (SQDC) Train others by openly sharing information, knowledge, and expertise with the team Complete job assignments as directed by Manufacturing Manager Attend meetings, trainings, and participate in audits as directed Safety Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations Comply with allpany rules includingpany safety policy and all federal, state, local, and other safety regulations and practices Use personal protective equipment and devices provided for machinery, equipment, tools and processes, when defined in PCS, Company Safety Policy, Job Safety Analysis or Management direction all unsafe conditions, accidents and injuries immediately to management Housekeeping Actively participate in 6S and lean activities as outlined by the Company Maintain equipment bypleting preventive maintenance requirements, following Company instructions Maintain continuity among work shifts by documenting andmunicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs Store and maintain tools, equipment and gauges as defined bypany standards Keep work area clean andanized topany standards/expectations Daily cleaning and sweeping of work area, tools and equipment Empty trash and waste as needed Personal items removed from workstations What You'll Bring High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required Minimum 1 year related experience and/or training, or equivalentbination of education and experience Forklift experience is preferred Reliable transportation Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills Ability to effectively manage time, multi-task, and pay close attention to details Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Capable of following directions Take responsibility for achieving production efficiency, quality of product and reports discrepant material immediately Demonstrate customer focus by seeking out, understanding, and responding to the needs of both internal and external customers Maintain a positive attitude andmunicate openly and honestly with others Solve problems proactively and contribute to continuously improving the process/product Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods Comfortable working in environments with noise, heat, or dust Regularly required to move, sit, and bend for various hours throughout the day
Pay Details:
