Manual Machinist

Position Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Manual Machinist with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience to join our team. This role requires advanced knowledge of manual machining processes, the ability to work to close tolerances, and a strong commitment to producing high-quality work efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate is a seasoned machinist who takes pride in precision, craftsmanship, and problem-solving in a production and repair environment. Minimum Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Manual Machinist Proven ability to operate manual machining equipment at an advanced skill level Strong understanding of machining principles, measurements, and tolerances Required Skills & Responsibilities Candidates must be able to: Operate manual machining equipment at a high level of proficiency, including but not limited to: Manual lathe Boring mill Drill press Consistently hold close tolerances Produce high-quality parts efficiently while maintaining accuracy Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and design schematics Design parts and calculate tolerances for equipment and machinery Perform precision work with minimal supervision Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work area Preferred Qualifications CNC machining experience is a plus, but not required Key Attributes Strong attention to detail Excellent problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Commitment to quality, safety, and craftsmanship Reliable, self-motivated, and professional
