Shop Machinist Pay:

$25.00 - $40.00 per hour (Starting pay based on experience)

Full-time Job Summary:

Due to a significant increase in work volume, Pro Line Machining is seeking an experienced Machinist to join our team in Gillette. This is a dynamic role for a skilled professional who enjoys precision shop work. You will be responsible for operating manual lathes and mills, as well as specialized machining equipment for our clients in the mining and industrial sectors.

Core Responsibilities Manual Machining:

Set up and operate manual lathes and mills to manufacture or repair high-precision metal parts.

Boring:

Align and operate line-boring equipment (ranging from 2.25" to 8") for repairs.

Milling:

Utilize milling machines to resurface components.

Heavy Equipment Repair:

Execute repairs on critical components, including mining shovel undercarriages, mud pumps, and draglines.

Technical Interpretation:

Read and interpret complex blueprints and engineering drawings to meet exacting tolerances.

Welding Support:

Perform basic welding (MIG/TIG/Stick) as necessary to build up parts or bores before machining.

Required Qualifications Manual Proficiency:

Minimum of 2-5 years of experience operating manual shop equipment.

Shop Experience:

Demonstrated ability to set up and align boring or milling equipment.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to handle a physical workload, including standing for long periods and working in a busy environment.

Schedule Flexibility:
