The Impact You'll Make As a Machine Operator / Mechanic, you'll be at the heart of our production process, keeping our machines running smoothly, ensuring products meet exact quality standards, and solving mechanical challenges before they become problems. Your expertise will directly influence our ability to deliver on time, maintain safety, and exceed customer expectations. What You'll Do Operate and monitor manufacturing machinery to ensure optimal performance and output. Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle. Perform routine mechanical maintenance, adjustments, and repairs on production equipment. Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed). Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines. Troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly to minimize downtime. Fix issues that might occur. Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and machine manuals. Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools. Conduct quality checks on products to ensure compliance with specifications. Test operation of machines periodically. Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws. Maintain accurate production and maintenance logs. Keep records of approved and defective units or final products. Collaborate with the production and engineering teams to improve processes and machine efficiency. Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a clean, organized work environment. What You'll Bring Proven experience as a machine operator, mechanic, or maintenance technician in a manufacturing setting. Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer, etc.) Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills with tools and equipment. Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, schematics, manuals and understand the production procedures. Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and troubleshooting techniques. Basic understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems is a plus. Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, analytical skills and a commitment to safety. Flexibility to work shifts and adapt to changing production needs. Ability to actively listen and understand information and ideas. Teamwork and communication skills. Ability to work with departments on scheduling and shipping. Manages and reports measurement metrics daily. Manages assigned production and deliveries on time. Continuously works to maintain a clean and safe work area.
