Temp to hire/Full time Pay rate : $18/hr .

Shift:

1st Shift - Monday-Friday 6:00AM-4:00PM

POSITION OVERVEW & PURPOSE

We are seeking a Laser Shear/Brake Press Operator for our client located in Decatur, AL. In this role, you will operate a Press Brake Opeartor& perform entry level or repetitive machine operation duties. Employee will work in extreme Heat & Cold, Noise, Vibration, Oils and Atmospheric Conditions such as Dust, Fumes and Metallic Particles. Employee will be exposed to the hazards of working with heavy machinery. Employee is required to wear a hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, steel toed boots with metatarsal and hearing protection. Responsibilities:

Understands and follows all company safety policies and procedures. Cleans work area and lubricates equipment Operating shear and brake press machinery to cut, bend, and form metal materials according to blueprints and production specifications. Measuring materials, performing quality checks, maintaining a safe work environment, and ensuring finished products meet company standards.

Requirements:

Basic reading and writing comprehension in English (to read instructions on picking tickets and cross-reference drawings, safety and policies manuals) Basic measuring skills to read and convert English and Metric systems Basic arithmetic skills to calculate and convert decimals and fractions Experience on a Press Brake Demonstrated manual dexterity, finger dexterity, arm-hand steadiness, and multi-limb coordination Must have HS Diploma Must pass a Background & Drug Screen Steeled-Toed Boots ✅ Weekly pay ✅ Health insurance ✅ Incentives and performance-based bonuses ✅ Referral bonuses ✅ Temp-to-hire career growth potential Referral Bonus Refer a Friend & Earn $200!
