We are looking for a reliable and skilled Edge Band Operator to run edge banding machinery used to apply edging materials to panels for cabinets, furniture, and other wood products. The ideal candidate will have experience in woodworking or manufacturing and a strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality finishes on all components. This person will also be trained in building frames for the ability to adjust to business needs.Key Responsibilities:
Operate edge banding machines to apply PVC, wood veneer, or laminate edge tape to panels. Set up, calibrate, and adjust machine settings (temperature, speed, pressure) for optimal operation. Inspect materials for defects before and after edge banding to ensure quality standards are met. Perform routine maintenance on the machine, including blade replacement, glue refill, and cleaning. Read work orders and production drawings to determine job specifications and requirements. Monitor glue application and edge adhesion, making adjustments as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety and quality regulations. Work with the production team to meet output goals and resolve any production issues promptly.Qualifications:
