This role is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining extrusion equipment to ensure high-quality product output. While prior manufacturing or extrusion experience is a plus, we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn. You will help ensure efficient production processes, adherence to safety standards, and consistent product quality. Shifts available:

1st Shift

• 8 am to 4 pm 2nd Shift
• 4 pm to 12 am 3rd Shift
• 12 am to 8 am Duties Set up and operate PVC extrusion machines, ensuring proper calibration and configuration for each production run.

Monitor machine operations continuously, adjusting parameters as needed to maintain optimal output and quality Conduct routine inspections of extruded products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers Perform quality inspections throughout the production process to detect defects or inconsistencies and implement corrective actions Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and properly handling of materials using basic hand tools. Assist with materials handling, loading raw materials into machines, and managing finished product storage in the warehouse area. Ability to perform quality inspections using precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and micrometer gauges Familiarity with materials handling equipment and knowledge of warehouse operations. Understanding of safety protocols related to plastics manufacturing environments Performs other related duties as assigned. Skills/Abilities/Requirements Previous experience with PVC extrusion and warehouse/manufacturing experience is a plus

Mechanical Aptitude:

a fundamental understanding of how machines work and the ability to use the tools necessary for machine set-up and troubleshooting. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and process adjustments. Ability to follow directions and work well with a team. Able to work prolonged periods of at least 8 hours standing, walking, stooping, and bending. Able to lift heavy materials typically ranging from 25-50 lbs., and sometimes up to 70 lbs. Must be able to work in a noisy environment that may not be climate controlled, meaning operators must be comfortable with working in hot/warm or cold/unheated warehouse environments.
