Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of machinery to produce high-quality components and finished products. Your expertise will ensure that production runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely while maintaining the highest standards of quality. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced equipment and contribute to innovative manufacturing processes in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Operate and monitor machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, flexo presses, press brake machines, and CNC programming equipment to produce precision parts. Set up machines according to specifications, including adjusting tooling and calibrating controls using blueprint reading and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing). Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance. Use precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and other tools to inspect parts for quality compliance. Handle materials and finished products safely using forklifts and other warehouse equipment while adhering to safety protocols. Follow detailed work instructions, blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical manuals for fabrication and assembly tasks. Support quality control processes by inspecting parts, documenting deviations, and implementing corrective actions when necessary. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with safety standards at all times. Skills Proficiency in operating CNC programming software such as Fanuc or CAM programming tools. Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in machining, fabrication, welding, tooling setup, and materials handling. Ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret technical drawings using GD&T principles. Familiarity with factory safety procedures including forklift operation and use of hand tools for assembly line tasks. Experience with manufacturing equipment such as stamping presses, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, press brakes, and stamping presses. Knowledge of quality measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and process adjustments. Experience working in a manufacturing facility or factory environment with a focus on machining or fabrication processes. Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly and efficiently while maintaining safety standards. Familiarity with SolidWorks or CAD software is a plus for understanding design specifications. Pay:
$22.45 - $27.04 per hour
