The Team Leader performs various tasks necessary to lead and direct production activities in a singular work cell or product line. Team Leaders may be required to perform any or all of the job duties listed below.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
(This description is a general statement of required major duties and responsibilities performed on a regular and continual basis. It does not exclude other duties that may be assigned.) oOversee production activities within a specific work cell. oAssist in the set-up of production areas or startup of equipment as necessary. oAccountable for maintaining production workflow. oFollow production schedule ensuring production standards are met. oCheck measurements and quality of all materials and completion of qualityrecord(s) where required. oComplete general area maintenance duties on equipment as assigned. This mayinclude help from the maintenance department when necessary. oResponsible for accurate and timely completion of paperwork, datacollection/entry, labeling/tagging, etc. oAssist with physical inventory inspection and measurements as required. oRecord material usage where required. oAccountable for identification of safety hazards, and support and sustain a safework environment. oMaintain excellent housekeeping practices. oPractice proper safety techniques. oFollow all procedures and guidelines. oPerform other duties as assigned.

Must be at least 18 years of age to perform this job. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and Experience:
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required; or, equivalent combination ofeducation and experience.
